The seminar Hot places – Cool spaces was organised by the Dutch research programme Climate changes Spatial Planning (CcSP) on October 25 and 26, 2007. The subject was climate change in urban areas, the effects of heat in cities and what measures could be implemented to mitigate these effects. The seminar consisted of two days, one for a wider public and the following day for a selected group of scientists and some practitioners.
